A decade ago, access to technology was limited at schools and ever since, technology has become a part of the society. For a generation of young people, technology, particularly the Internet, is a substantial component in their social and educational lives. Different technologies serve different purposes in the classroom. For example, word, e-mail. Unfortunately nowadays, the computer can even replace teachers.

Many different types of technology can be used in classrooms, everything from video content and digital moviemaking to laptop computing. New uses of technology, such as podcasting, are constantly emerging. In some colleges and universities the students don't even need to actually go there, they only turn on their computer(s), click the mouse and they see their teacher, talking and explaining the material.

I believe that this kind of education method is wrong because it means that the teachers won't be able to treat each student in personal(מיותר). Moreover, children will probably lose their ability to relate to other human beings. It can also make them become dependent on technology to learn.This will probably cause a disconnected, apathetic, and uncaring youth.

To sum up, this kind of technology should be taken out of the society. Maybe it is good to use in our free time, or just as a hobby.But replacing teachers beside computers means taking a large risk. A Risk that we can not allowe(sp.), that will make our society disconnected, apathetic, and uncaring.This kind of risk should be denunciated from our society.

TEENAGERS BEHIND THE WHEEL

How many of you have heard about teenagers involved in car accidents? How many of your friends were involved in car accidents? Motor vehicle accidents remain the leading cause of death in youths from 16 to 20 years of age. The motor vehicle fatality rate of teenagers is higher than that of any other age group.

An organization of accident victims has recently proposed that the age for getting a driver's license should be raised to 19. As I see it, the issue of young drivers is a major problem in society. I think that everyone should take actions to try to stop the accident(s). I also believe that laws like the one I mentioned before can help us prevent this massive epidemic.

I have read that the two main risk factors(risk factor for what?) include lack of driving experience and risk taking behavior. The law I mentioned before can solve half of the problem. By rising the age for a driver's license to 19 instead of 16 or 17, we can be sure that less car accidents will happen. At the age of 19 the drivers are under less peer-pressure and they are more mature. Moreover, at this age the drivers are more aware of the consequences of their actions. So they know what(מיותר) the price they will have to pay if they will take(gr.) risks on the road.

To sum up, I do support the proposal of rising the age of getting (a) drivers' license to 19. I believe that the drivers are more mature at this age, and the fact is that maturity can and will probably save lives, especially on the road. I surely hope that this proposal will become a law in the future.

The Internet Generation

The internet is one of the most important inventions in our world. It has become a significant part(מיותר) and even inseparable (part) of our lives. In(ww.) the internet we can communicate with our friends, read the news, hear music, and we can even use it to to do our homeworks(מיותר). But in spite all of this, some say that the internet is the biggest mistake of the modern world.

On the one hand, the internet modernized our whole world. Firstly, thanks to the internet we can talk to our friends whenever and how much(ww.) we want. Secondly, it allows us to search for information in varied and unlimited sites and places. Moreover, there are sites, in which you can sell your old things, and other sites, in which you can shop and that way saving(gr.) time.

On the other hand, the internet can be a very dangerous place for the ones who don't know how to act carefully. The worst thing about the internet is that there is no guaranty that no one will brake(sp.) into your privet(sp.) site and discover details about you, which will later be used against you. The internet can be a violent place, where kids use the fact of no privacy(phr. - not clear what you mean) and make fun of other kids. Moreover, because of the internet, kids are reading less books, and doing less exercise, and even skipping doing homeworks(מיותר). This will cause(ww.) an apathetic and inactivate society.

In conclusion, I believe that in spite of all the risks and disadvantages of the internet, it had changed our lives in irreversible way(gr. - irreversibly). It has become a big and significant part of our lives and we probably won't be able to manage without it. However, I do believe that we should take actions to lower the risks and bad influence. Actions like using the internet and his(ww.-its) influence on children to help convince them doing(gr.) more exercise, and open their eyes to a different world.

Working teenagers

All over the world teenagers work in all kind(s) of jobs, cleaning, serving (or) selling, and even selling lemonade in the streets. Teenagers work during school and after school, but what is a better choice? Does it make difference on our studying(phr.), our social life(gr. - lives) or maybe even our maturation(ww. - you mean: maturity)?

But first, we need to find out what is it (that) really that(מיותר) attracts so many students to work? Maybe it is the benefit of earning money and the ability to do with the money whatever we want, without anyone telling us whether it is alright or not. Or maybe it is the freedom that we feel when we have our own job and act all(ww. - like) grownups all the(ww. - of a) sudden? But whatever it is, everything can be summed up by one word - independence.

I believe that a job evolve(ww.+gr.) in us all(מיותר) responsibility, maturity and independence,(New sentence) it helps us make the right decisions and gives us a pick(ww.) into the grownups' world, which we will be part of him(מיותר). Will a job duration(ww.) school really help us and show us how to deal and be part of this new and scary grownup world? I don't think so, but I do believe that we will enter the adult world with less fear, more knowledge and definitely a smile on our face. - The last part is not clear.

To sum up, I really believe that a job can help us be more independence(ww.) in our lives. It can also make us more mature and responsible. I believe that everyone who can, and wants to have a job while being a student, should have one.

the qualities of a friend.

We have lots of friend(s) in all different positions of proximity. We have friends just to sit with at schools, we have friends just to hang out (in the) afternoon, and we have friend(s) to talk about everything and which(ww. - whom) we feel safe with. I believe that the most important qualities in a best-friend should be sensitivity, honesty and faithfulness.

First, a friend should be sensitive. He should try to understand your moods and know how to act and whether you are sad, angry, or tired without you telling him. A sensitive friend wouldn't jump of joy when you are sad. I also believe that another important quality is honesty. Everyone needs to know that their friend won't lie to him, and that he can trust him. A friend should know to tell us the truth no matter what happens and even if he believes it's(ww. - it is) not for the best.

I think that the most important quality is faithfulness. We need to know that we can trust our friend. We need to know that our friend won't go scatter a secret you (have) just told him. If a friend will tell(gr.) your secrets and betray you for (an)other friend, you know you can't trust him. If you can’t trust him you will not tell him you(r) secrets, or hang with him, you will not be able to talk to him without being afraid that he will embarrass you. And if you can’t trust your friend…what kind of friend is he?

These qualities, sensitivity, honesty (and) faithfulness, are important to keep us with(phr.) our friends. All these qualities help us and our friends stay friends(phr.). Without these qualities the bonding will be lost and so is our friend(phr.).

I believe that starting this kind of program will gain your radio station more popularity. Furthermore, the most important thing this program will do is help the youth make the right decisions. Who knows…it might change someone's life.

Gadna is an Israeli military program which prepares youth for their mandatory military service in the Israel Defense Forces. My class and I went on a Gadna week last month. This was the most unique experience I have been through (in) my whole life.

I would like to exalt my commander was nothing like I expected, he was better. When we first met him he looked like all the other commanders, but soon we realized he was different. At(ww.) the first two days he did not gave(gr. + ww.) us any pushups(phr.), he didn't punished(gr.) us and he was very, very patient. He didn't have this look of "I hate you, and I hate being here" .If something made him laugh, he laughed, if something made him angry he talked with us about it. In all our duty-rosters he helped us, and whenever we got tiered(sp.) he encouraged us, and motivated us.

In spite of the face that shooting practice may sound intimidating, this was a lot of fun. During the Gadna week we learned how to hold a gun, what the gun (is) made up(מיותר) of. We learned how to enter a magazine(what?), and how to direct and strike(ww.) our target. The shooting practice lessons were taken very seriously. Anyone who didn’t took(gr.) part or disturbed the commander during the lesson did not shoot(ww. - participate). At first, I was very nervous because I never shoot(gr.) a gun before. I wanted to quite(sp.) but I knew that I would regret it. The shooting practice turned out to be one of the most exiting things I have ever done in my life. The feeling of holding a gun and do(gr.) something I will probably never get the chance to do again was great.

I think that this week was an unforgettable experience. I made friendships with people I never met, and I renew(gr.) old connections. I got the chance to try new and different things. I learned new values and acquired new skills. I know that if somebody will give(gr.) me a chance to come back on a Gadna week(phr.), I will not hesitate and start packing my suitcases

For start(phr.), the most important argumentation is that I LOVE animals. Ever since I was 10 years old I have tried to convince my mother to adopt a pet. It looked like it was in trauma. I called to(מיותר) the "Animal Society" and they came to rescue the dog.

Virtual learning has become popular. This way of learning is when a student turns on his computer, connects to a specific link, where he joins a group session. You must have speakers and a learning environment which consists of silence. Otherwise you will not be able to concentrate.

There are many advantages of(ww.) virtual learning. First, you are not exposed to peer-pressure(why?). You develop self discipline(why?). In addition, you must use self control. For example, you must complete your assignments on time and you need to be motivated in order to study.

On the other hand, you are in isolation from your peers. You do not get to know various types of people because you are alone. For example, if you are in Tel-Aviv and your "classmates" are in London you probably never get to meet them. (and why is that bad?)

Our writing blogs are a new way of learning English. We write online and our dedicated teacher spends endless hours correcting our mistakes. This is virtual because we do not hand anything in. it is all on the computer. As a result, we do not waste paper. We get motivated because computers are more fun and (our esaays are) easier to correct than (on) paper.

If I had the chance to take part in a virtual class I would reject the offer. It is important for me to be with people while learning. In addition, to experience social connections beyond what I would get from a computer.(phr.)

It's very good, but it needs some more work.

I am writing this letter to complain about the high price of the trip to Poland which will take place in(ww. - on) April 2012 . This trip is very significant , however, it is over priced and as a result, many students can not afford it.

First, the trip is very meaningful to every jew. I think it is an important journey to take part in. However, not every student can afford it. The funding is not available(phr.) to help such students. For example, my friend was offerd 500 shekels to "help" her pay this trip. Needless to say this is not enough and she can not go.

Second, I can not see why there has to be 5 teachers(phr. and gr.) or more traveling with 50 students. Only students with good behavior(phr.) are allowed to go on this trip, so why do so many teachers have to go? The teachers travel for free and this money could be used for paying needy students.

Having being(gr. - been) part of student population for 11 years, I feel that the following suggestion is important. The municipality of Holon should help fund this trip to make it possible for more students to take part in it(מיותר). George's Metamorphasis

Imagine a caterpillar, going into his cocoon and going through a metamorphosis. Than(sp.) imagine a person who goes through the same metamorphosis. Meet George - a lazy young man who lives in the Bronx. He is 20 years old and he never finished school and throughout he didn’t achieve anything.(phr.) George never did anything useful. He had this need for respect but never earned it and that sometimes made me feel angry.

George looked just like his sister Sophie. He was tall and bony. He was a useless "bum" as his sister called him. He didn't appreciate people telling him what to do, hate(gr.) made-up stories and even got sick of the human voice. He rapidly gave up on trying being(gr. - to be) educated. As a young boy he was good at carpentry but never expanded this skill. He was raised in a neighborhood inhabit(gr.) by immigrants – a cold neighborhood with broken sidewalks.

George didn't have any achievements. He lied to Mr.C (about what?)and Mr.C told the whole neighborhood and as a result George enjoyed the newly found respect he got from everyone. George needed a guiding father to teach and lead him and support him in order to achieve his goal. George found such a guide in Mr.C – the "change maker". Sophie had little time for George and therefore, little influence. George('s) father was a quiet man, who worked in a fish market and not a father figure. He had influence on George than Mr.C had(phr.). Mr.C was unable to fulfill his dream. Although he was uneducated he valued reading highly. He was different than other people in the neighborhood. He read and knew a lot. Mr.C (eventually) succeeded and changed(phr. - in changing) George. - pleased don't forget this essay is about George not Mr. C.

I had mixed feelings about George. I felt anger sometime, and sometimes pity, and sometimes apathetic toward George. He made me feel that I do a lot with my life, unlike him. I think Mr.C succeeded and that George would try to change his life. I think that he did wrong when he quit school. I also think that (in)someway his lies helped him change. I really hope his life will look different than the lives of the rest of the immigrants. I hope that he will complete his metamorphosis and make his dream come true.

Book Review - number 4

The book "East Of Eden" ,written by John Steinback in the 1900's, is a saga. It tells the story of twin brothers, Cal and Aron and the previous generation Charles and Adam Trask. this book is about the complex relationships between families. The characters are complex. No one is totally good or totally bad. And when you get to know them, you learn to understand and love them, as if they are part of your life.

Caleb and Aron did not get much love from their father when they were young. Thanks to a close friend of their father's, they rediscovered their father's love. Despite this love, there were a lot of conflicts inside this family. For example, Cal was always jealous of his brother and the reader can notice this through Cal's actions.

Cal and Aron always assumed that their mother had been dead, until one night when Cal found out the truth. He changed, and as a result, all the relationships in the family changed for the worse. This way their lives changed and they had to deal with new conflicts, new discoveries and lies.

This book should be read by lovers of classic novels and mystery books. written by one of the best American writers of all times. I think it is well worth reading, despite being over 500 pageslong. The characters are real, the story is real, so we can all imagine ourselves in these situations. It feels so real, that the characters stays with you long after you have finished reading this great novel

Bad food habits

There has always been a connection between food and behavior. In the article "The Disaster between our ears" the nutritionist Alice Brown says that we all (have) to be more responsible for what we are eat. However, many parents are not aware of this fact.

As a result (This is not the best way to begin a paragraph), parents allow their children to eat too much sugar and caffeine in their meals. For example, my cousin, Eden, From Rosh Ha'Ain becomes hyperactive after eating or drinking sugar or caffeine. (However,) His typical breakfast consists of cereal with lots and lots of sugar.

A suggestion to helping(gr.) the situation would be to educate parents and teach them about the importance of balances(gr.) diets. The media should be used to promote healthy eating skills (Explain - in what way van the media be used?).

As a conclusion, I believe that we all should be more aware of our eating habits. Then we can be more responsible for our behavior. By balancing our meals we can control ourselves and our life(gr. - lives)

Yes, Hofit, everything you've written is correct but you haven't dealt with the issue I presented: What about the food manufacturers? Should they be held responsible? Now, I understand, from your essay, that the answer is no, but you should mention them and the fact that it's not their responsibility.

I am writing this letter to respond to an article that I saw published in the Ha'aretz newspaper on september 1, 2009.(add the name of the article). I strongly object to whale hunting. there are many reasons why and I believe that many people will agree with me. The ones who do not agree with me just don't understand that whales are living creatures that desrve to live just like us.

First, we know that a few years ago the world realized that the whales were about to be extinct. Ever since, a few laws were protecting(phr. abd gr.) those whales. Like the article said the law had a breach which said that people can hunt whales for purpose of research. But I have to say that it is wrong to hunt and kill such pure innocent creature.

Like you mentioned in the article, there's only one problem left. People still hunt the whales but now they pretend that the hunt is for research. The hunters don't really care about the whales, they care about the profits they are about to gain from the death of those whales. In the meantime, the government stands still and does nothing!

I expect the law to understand the importance of protecting the whales. they are part of the life circle and can't be destroyed. I really hope to change somthing with this letter and I hope you will publish it.

Swine flu

We all heard about the Swine flu, we all know how deadly it is and how many people have already died or just about to knock at the death's door. The news is talking non-stop about the Swine flu, about the vaccine against it. But are we all sure that those vaccines will stop the Swine flu?

I'm pretty worried about the approaching events. The first one is of course, the upcoming school year. It's enough that only one student will carry(gr.) this virus and the next thing we know is that the whole school will get infected. The school will be like habitat of the Swine flu.

In addition, the winter is approaching us quickly . This will make people get weaker and unable to deal successfully with the Swine flu. More people will get infected and more people will become very close to death.

I think that in the next days or months we should all be more careful with our surroundings. We need to take safety measures and not drink from the same bottle and not eating(gr.) from the same fork and the like. It may sound stupid, but this might prevents(gr.) us from getting infected.

I think that it is necessary that our ministers and prime minister start affecting those whales' lives and help them survive the most dangerous journey they have been through – life. They should stop the killing and end the hunting even if its for research!

The facebook has become a very popular site among children since it was invented. Nowadays, children all over the world are entering their profile page, showing pictures, talking with their friends and keeping in touch with each other. However, recently we've been seeing lots of hate groups and I certainly think it should stop.

The facebook was invented so people can talk with other people all over the world and be exposed to defferent types of people and cultures. The use of technology for publishing and spreading their hate is entirely wrong! Those people can't be stopped according to the ministry, by lectures because they probably don't care what other people think. This matter should be taken more seriously and those people should be punished.

Moreover, people think that because it is the internet and this is the way the children express their opinions, so it's harmless, but it still hurts people's feelings! and the internet can not make the damage smaller, it can only make it worse because rumors are spread nonstop. Think of those people, that surf the internet and sudenly see their name in a hate group, for some people…it can really roin their lives.

Therefore, my conclusion is that this phenomenon should be stop(gr.) as soon as we can, before it is too late to stop it and it will be like a disease which can't be stopped and kills lots of people's lives .

Our parents taught us to be independent. They taught us how to express ourselves and one of the ways to do that was to choose our own clothes. Our clothes help us to express our minds and our thoughts .They are also are(מיותר) one way of being ourselves, and make the environment see us the way we want them to see us.

Some say that every person has his own right to wear anything he wants. They say that choosing our clothes is important for expressing our selves. Our clothes are part of us, the first part that every person see(gr.) when he looks at us. The clothes reflect who we are, and sometimes who we want to be. They can tell about(phr.) your style, your kind of friend(phr. - "the kind of friends you have") and what music do(מיותר) you love to hear. So, when someone looks at us, he can already see or know something about us.

Others say that our clothes are just a small part, maybe the smallest of us. They say that the clothes only cover our body and that this is something you should usually ignore. They prefer to look into a person's personality and not (his) clothes. They say that maybe if we all wear the same things so maybe we will get to know each other's personalities. They say that everybody is focus(gr.) on how we dresses(gr.) instead of being focus(gr.) on who we are.

The only thing that we will always know for sure is that clothes are very influential for all of us. They are one way of(ww. - for) us to express ourselves and maybe get to know other people. This is what Adam and Eve didn't have…well, luckily for us we will never have to use grapevine leafs(sp.) as our clothes.

Burge McCall was short, fat, a bad man and he hated his wife. Mrs. McCall was tall, thin and also hated her husband. Everybody in their town thought they were strange, they thought that Burge McCall was the wors husband and that Mrs. McCall was uing him for his money.

After 2 years of marriage, he slapped his wife, and ever since he didn't like the way his wife looked at him, she also told him he was a big rat. The other day When Burge McCall went to Sled Sather's for a drink one day he discovered that his wife had bought rat poison. It was very weird because they didn't even have a rat problem.he realized his wife bought a poison for him- he is the big rat!!!

When Burge McCall got out of the shock he started to change his attitude. He treated he treated his wife nicely and even bought her an expensive coat. He called her nice names like "my dear" and suddenly became the best husband in town. It all happened because he was frightened his wife would poison him. He thought that if he would be nice enoght his wife mabe regrate and won't poison him

One day Burge McCall noticed his wife didn’t look at him in the look he hated so much and was afraid of. He realized she started to love him. He finaly understod that if he wants Mrs. McCall to love and respect him he needs to do the same, he needs to love and respect her . The town people were jealous of their relationship.
In conclusion, relationships are based on the attention you give to your partner and how you treat him.

Well, homework has been an issue forever. It is sometimes the reason for many problems like waste of your time because you could have use this time for hanging out with your friends. And it is sometime the reason for your success, so…what is homework really about?

Some people might say that homework is very important and helpful, they are right. In some fields homework is very necessary because it gives you the motivation to go through the material, and it helps the material stay in your mind. So when the test is approaching you've already done half way towards your success.

Other people might say that homework is waste of time, and they have better things to do instead, like studying for an important test or going out with friends. They are also right, because in some fields homework doesn't help you and sometimes even confuses you. It spends your time and makes you work hard when you can do other things instead.

In conclusion I think that homework can be helpful and important but they can also be very disturbing and annoying. It depends in the field and sometimes in the person.

A long time ago the Greeks started to be curious about what ever was out there in space. They found out that there is a world out there, and then they started to explore it. It started by naming one of the planets, continued with realizing that there were lots of planets, and understanding that there was some order, and got as far as spaceships and walking on the moon.

On the one hand, we all know that the space exploration has been giving us lots of information, beginning with the discovery that the moon is not an illusion. In addition, the fact that there are more galaxies like ours and that there might be even worlds like ours, or living beings like us out there. Due to the new things that have been discovered, people are more curious about the sciences. The study of sciences had become more popular and it born lots of great minds and
On the other hand, space exploration has its own disadvantages, like the fact that the money scientists have been spending on the exploration could be so helpful for all the starving people in our world. The money could also help understanding cancer or AIDS or any other awful diseases. There are so many problems on our planet that need to be solved .

To sum up, I think that the exploration of space is important for the understanding of some
things like if there are any other living being, or strange climate changes or problomes on earth, but it would be better if we focus on saving our planet.

Kids are usually affected by peer-pressure…well, I think that this situation, of peer-pressure is the worst thing kids can be part of. Everyone knows how hard it is to deal with peer-pressure, mostly if it comes from people your age and school. I think that kids should learn how to say NO!! - Very good opening.

For example, if you studied so hard for an important test and you know everything, but one of your classmates knows that it would be easier for him not to study. If he comes to you 10 minutes before the big test…will you agree to help him and let him copy from you? or will you say NO? The right thing to do, is to refuse, and let him understand that if he wants to get a good grade he needs to make an effort.

The other answer could be "yes, you can copy from me". this will probably make your friend like you and will increase you popularity in class, but, it will also make you very stressed and scared during the test. If you are stressed and scared you can't concentrate and you will not succeed.

In short, it seems to me that we need to say NO or it will affect us and not necessarily for the good, but it depends on the sitoation. I realy think everyone needs to think for a while before they let other people effect their lives

well, I'm sure you think there is no easy solution for your problome. But in fact it is realy easy, all you need to do is ask yourself what what you think is more important for you...your friends, or your life. You need to decide if you are ready to clime on the mountain or not.

we all saw movies about climbing mountains, we all saw how frithgning and dangerousit is. I think that the best thing for you to do is taking 10 minutes of silence, just beeing alone with yourself and think about what will probably make you feelbetter.You should know that if you're afraid to do this, then you will not have to. But if you will choose to do this will it make you feel good? What is more important for you, Sebastien? is it hanging with your friend while knowing your not having fun at all, or is it feeling safe and good with yourself?

I think that the war in Gaza is justified! I think that it's about time that we fight for the right of our southern residents to live safely in their own country. The southern residents have been living in this horrible fear for 8 years!! It's unbelievable that we hadn't do nothing until the pass Saturday. I can't believe that the Hamas is calling this slaughter!! While they are shooting tens of rockets on our residents. I think that the operation of our army entering with infantry and fighting the Hamas was necessary, I can't believe I'm saying this…but although I had had two brothers in Gaza (one of them was released a few days ago) I do support their operation! I do support my country! I do support the southern residents!! And I definitely support and trust my army!!!!!

Do you know what happened to me a few days ago?
Well…I was watching TV when my brother suddenly jumped on the couch and changed channel, I wanted to kill him, and suddenly I saw a scene which reminded me something very frightening that happened to me a few year(s) ago.

I was 13 years old, and I went on a trip with some cousins and their friends.
We slept in cute little wooden houses, and it felt like we were in a village. Only my cabbage(את כתבת : כרוב) was very far from the others. When we got there we found out that there were so many animals there, a lot of cats, and a lot of dogs! .

On the third and last night I was a little bored, and I wanted to go to be with my friends…the only problem was that I was so far from them, and between me and them there was a...large field of dry thorns…I went out from my cabbage(ww.) and went to my friend, as it got dark..., it started to get cold, two hours later I couldn't stand the cold and went to bring me a jacket. I started to walk and I was so frightened, the filed now looked darker, scarier, and longer. Suddenly, I saw a big white Labrador dog. I stopped and went to her, she was thrilled to see that someone were(gr.) paying attention to her. I kept going but she followed me, and to tell you the truth, I was glad that she was with me. It made me feel so good, like she was protecting me.

Well, eventually I took my jacket and went back to my friend with my new bodyguard. She was so cute, and I was so sad to leave her, I wanted to take here(sp.) with me, but my mom didn't allow me.

Whenever I see a white Labrador I remember her, and the good feeling she gave me. Ever since then, I have tried to convince my mom to bring me a dog. I really hope that someday she will get tired of me and will bring me a dog. Hoping to see you very soon,

A Leap Year.

My exhibition is about leap year, but before I'll(gr.) start to talk about the Leap Year, I must explain to you why it is happening(gr. - happens)
Well, there are three options for counting the year
One option is the Sidereal Year:

This is the time that gets(ww.) the earth orbiting the sun.
The sidereal year is made up of 12 months of 30 or 31 days. (which)
Sum(s) up of(to) 365 days(a year).

The second option is the Moon-Year.

The moon year is made up of 12 months of 29 or 30 days, (summing up to).
Sum up of 354 days. (a year).

The third option is the reason for the leap year .
This is the Jewish way for the calendar(phr.):
This calendar is the combination of the other two options I just wrote about.
Because of this combination we need to balance the calendar, so, we add 10 more days every year ...or what's happening at the leap year(phr. - or, as a whole month every 3 years, as it is done on a leap year)
Add one month every 3 years. Every month is the time the moon is orbiting the earth.

So like we talked about(As I mentioned before,), the leap year is the time when we add one more mounth for(ww. - to) the year, this is the time when we balance the Sidereal year with the Moon-year. The extra month that we add to the leap year is the Adar..(month).

the reason for this is becase(מיותר) the difference between the ancient calendar and the modern calendar of today; the difference is the names of the months, and the order of the months.

In the ancient times there were no names for the months, they were called "month 1" "month 2" atc(etc. or and so on). In the ancient calendar the first month was the spring month, in Hebrew "Nisan", and the first holy day was the(מיותר) Passover in Hebrew "Pesah", and the last month was "Adar" not "Ellul"…so that’s why every leap year they added another is Adar, and not Ellul.
And this is also the best way to make sure that the(מיותר) Passover and Nosan will be in the spring. - Your explanation is very messy and not very clear. You'll have to go over it again.

Italy

I would like to talk about Italy.
This place looks like heaven. There are beautiful green fields, amazing lakes, wonderful trees and flowers, small houses, big hostels and unbelievable decorations on the hostels. The whole place seems like a dream, and behind the beautiful view there are the great Dolomites mountains. The flag of Italy is made from 3 colors:
the red symbolizes the blood that was spilled during the wars of all the blood that spilled while the wars there.

The white symbolize all the snow at the dolomites.

The green symbolize all the green fields.

I've been in Italy three months ago with my mom. Italy is located in southern Europe, it also shares it's northern Alpines with France, Switzerland, Austria and Slovenia.

There are so many things to see there. Like Verona – the town of Romeo and Juliet. Venice - "the city on water" - its true, the whole city is really on the water, the trains built on the water, the buildings are all on the water, and the people there don't have cars they have boats! The Dolomites – ,the huge and amazing mountains, are so high and cold that even at the hottest season there, it is still snowing. The pizzas and spaghetties are truly like a gourmet meal.

To sum up, I think that my trip to Italy was a gift from god, it was unforgettable and I had so much fun.

Italy is so special and beautiful and unique and you should defiantly visit there too.

I'm writing about my cousin Yuval. She has beautiful green eyes and long light brown hair. She was born on August 9th 1996. she has a little brother-Aviv, and a little sister-Mor.

I think she is special because she is such an amazing person .She always helps me and advises me. Also, when she needs my help or advice I'm always there for her. We spend hours on the phone together. We eat dinner together, goingon holidays and trips together. We are practically like sisters. She has a lovely character - she always helps people when they need here, she is kind, she is smart, she is friendly, and she is caring.

Her hobbies are going out with friends, dancing, singing, and playing basketball and volleyball. She is the captain of the basketball and volleyball team. she loves

wathcing movies, like comody, drama and romantic.

To sum up, I think I'm lucky to have her as my cousin and I'm happy to know her.she is a very spaciel and unic person and everyone who knows her can tell the same thing.I love her so much.

Me, Myself And I

My name is Hofit levy, I'm 15 years old, I have brown hair and brown eyes. I have no brothers, and I like it. and My hobbies are: Horses- I have been riding horses for 4 years , I also like listening to music - espacially Rock and Punk...my favorite band is Simple Plan, this is a rock-punk band.

I'm supposed to write what I doing In my spare time, but lately I don't have much spare time. I have lots of assignments, it's hard to keep up but I'm fine. before I had so many assignments I usually spend most of my time in front of the TV. I prefer science fiction series mostly, espacially-"Smallville" it's about superman as a teenager.

In the holidays I spend most of my time with my family, we go on vacations, to parks, zoos, hotels, and museums. I usually speak with my friend on the phone, or maybe we just go to the park and talk about everything.

The things I like about school are the breaks and meeting my friends, and also the lessons with the funny teachers, like Kobi- last year he told us he is the israely spiderman, and superman is his best friend. The things I don't like are the home work, the assignments, the papers, and the tests. The subject I love the most is chemistry. It's because of the fact that you can take two materials that separately are not dangerous, but when you put them together, you can blow them up.

. And because I'm doing well in this subject.

My expatations is to have alot of fun in this year and get good scores.
